Recruiter? Too much AI?  • Joe Cooper

Summary

Hi, I’m Joe. We're researching and developing a new kind of career network.

What are we doing?

A new kind of talent board that pairs people and roles directly.

Why?

AI fatigue. Matching talent with employers is now AIs firing hollow walls of text at each other.

We don't have to work this way.

How can I help?

Are you an active recruiter? Let me know you're interested by September 1st and you'll get free, early access as a pilot user. We will make it work for you.

Thanks!

Problem Statement

You know the guy. Every box checked; the AI says he's the one; he's sent a five-paragraph essay as a cover letter. There's just one problem. He's not qualified, he's never read your job post, and there's six hundred more of him.

You might have a good eye on a post-by-post basis, but you can't inspect a thousand applications.

Meanwhile, the job seeker you want knows:

  1. You won't see their application.
  2. A dishonest application will look better.
  3. An AI filter will select against human text.

It's 2025, and "posting" and "applying" are on their way out.

On Sales Navigator and the like, you can filter leads, but the filters are blunt, leaving thousands of people for you to text one-by-one.

Let's restructure this.

Core Concept

We're going to replace the "job board" with a talent board with a twist; you question the entire pool of candidates at once.

Suppose you ask:

...and the system figures out who to ask. Candidates will see solicited, relevant, in-platform questions, and the system will build your shortlist based on real, personal answers.

Your Needs

Your client and ATS will require a cover letter, resume and so forth.

In the initial conversation, these things don't help you match and screen candidates. They're written on demand to say what you want to hear. But you need them.

So; do step one without them, and have good, screened candidates send materials to fit your needs.

Calling for Recruiters

I'm looking for recruiters to join as pilot users for a new kind of job board. The offer:

In short: we will make it work for you.

As of , I've got 11 volunteers, but room for more.
